Thai Yoga Massage

{90 mins} £68

Traditional Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient healing art that originated in India around 2,500 years ago. It works on an energy line system—the Ten Sen—through which the body’s natural life force flows. When this flow is blocked, feelings of dis-ease can arise.

The massage is performed on a floor mattress and the recipient wears loose comfortable clothing; no oil is used. The therapist uses hands, feet and elbows to apply pressure and stimulate energy to specific points on the energy lines and applied yoga postures give gentle yet deep stretches. This releases blocked energy and frees the body’s healing potential, restoring balance and harmony.

The whole massage is given in a meditative state and leaves you in a deep sense of calm and profound relaxation yet also energised.

No Hands Massage

{1 hour} £45

No Hands Massage is a dynamic new form of massage. It was conceived and developed over 20 years by UK massage therapist, Gerry Pyves after a traumatic injury to both wrists.

The technique involves no hands and instead uses the soft surfaces of the arms, through which pressure is applied from the whole weight of the therapist. This results in a deeper, more relaxing massage compared to conventional ones. It is often described as ‘The Gentle Giant of Massage’ in that it is immensely powerful yet pleasant at the same time.

No Hands Massage works on the physical, energetic, emotional, mental and spiritual levels and can be so powerful that you can feel the effects long after the session has finished.

The massage can be either a full body treatment or working on specific areas depending on your requirements.
